Description
A serious. seriously drinkable Chardonnay from one of Marlborough’s most accomplished winemaking families.
The grapes here are carefully selected from Seresin’s organic Raupo vineyard. wild-fermented. and spend several months in seasoned French oak. with full malolactic fermentation and intermittent stirring of lees.
There is striking grapefruit and citrus zest intensity on first approach – followed by bouyant stonefruit. apple. and a persistent and complex toasty. nutty. creamy finish.
Pair with fish pate or garlic and lemon-sauced pasta.
Drinking well now but would cellar well to reveal further complexity.
